Monitoring can be carried out by means of: product inspection, audit or visit to the location
of supplier; process audit in situ of construction site; key performance indicators of their
processes, and non-conformities detected.
Level of control should be appropriate the exposure of the product or service. It is not the
same the evaluation of a civil construction as an engineering firm. This evaluation should be
carried out in a systematic method, stablishing frequency of audit.
Communication with supplier
Information submitted to the provider should contain the information describing the output
to be purchased; verification measures to ensure that the product is as specified and
expected by the customer. Much of this aspect concern the information describing services
which customer receives during its discussions and negotiations to procure. It is absolutely
essential that goods and services are as they are described.

8.5 Production and service provision
8.5.1 Control of production and service provision
The main requirement is for the company to plan for and undertake production processes
under controlled conditions. The delivery of controlled conditions requires that the quality
management incorporates the use of management procedure, works instructions,
appropriate equipment, monitoring and measurement mechanism, and post-delivery
procedure.
