The rules mentioned above also apply to the trim situated
beneath the rear side windows of two-door cars.
The minimum height of the door’s side protection panel must
extend from the base of the door to the maximum height of the
door strut.
It is permitted to replace electric winders with manual ones.
It is permitted to replace manual winders with electric ones.

6.7.2.4) Suelo:

6.7.2.5) Other sound-proofing materials and trim:
Other soundproofing materials and trim, except for those
mentioned under Articles 6.7.2.3 (Doors) and 6.7.2.2
(Dashboard), may be removed.

6.7.2.6) Sistema de calefacción:
El sistema de calefacción de origen debe mantenerse.
Pueden quitarse los siguientes elementos del aire acondicionado:
condensador y ventilador auxiliar, depósito del fluido, evaporador
y ventilador del evaporador, válvula de expansión, así como todos
los tubos, las conexiones, interruptores de contacto, sensores y
actuadores necesarios para el funcionamiento del sistema.
Solo si el sistema de accionamiento es completamente
independiente de cualquier otro dispositivo, puede retirarse
el compresor del aire acondicionado. Si ese no es el caso, la
eliminación del compresor del aire acondicionado debe ser
homologada como VO. El compresor puede dejarse inoperante.
Si ciertos elementos son comunes al sistema de calefacción,
deben mantenerse.

6.7.2.6) Heating system:
The original heating equipment must be retained.
The following parts of the air conditioning system may be
removed: condenser and auxiliary fan, fluid tank, evaporator and
fan, expansion valve, as well as all pipes, connections, contact
switches, sensors and actuators necessary for the functioning of
the system.
Only if its drive system is completely independent of any
other system will it be possible to remove the air conditioning
compressor. If that is not the case, the removal of the air
conditioning compressor must be homologated in VO. The
compressor may be rendered inoperative.
If certain elements are common with the heating system, they
must be retained.

6.7.2.7) Puede retirarse la bandeja trasera desmontable de los vehículos
de dos volúmenes.

6.7.3) Accesorios adicionales:
Se autorizan, sin restricciones, todos los accesorios que no
tengan ningún efecto sobre el comportamiento del vehículo,
tales como los que afectan a la estética o a la comodidad interior
(iluminación, calefacción, radio, etcétera). Estos accesorios no
podrán, en ningún caso, ni siquiera indirectamente, aumentar
la potencia del motor o tener influencia sobre la dirección, la
transmisión, los frenos o la estabilidad.
La función de todos los mandos deberá ser la prevista por el
constructor. Se permite adaptarlos para hacerlos más utilizables
o más fácilmente accesibles, como por ejemplo, una palanca del
freno de mano más larga, una placa adicional en el pedal de
freno, etcétera.
Se permite lo siguiente:
1) Los instrumentos de medición, velocímetros, etc., pueden
instalarse o sustituirse, con funciones eventualmente diferentes.
Tales instalaciones no deben entrañar riesgos. Sin embargo, el
velocímetro no podrá retirarse, si el reglamento particular de la
prueba lo prohíbe.
2) La bocina puede cambiarse y/o añadirse otra adicional al
alcance del pasajero.
La bocina no es obligatoria en carreteras cerradas.
3) El mecanismo de bloqueo de la palanca de freno de mano puede
cambiarse con el fin de obtener un desbloqueo instantáneo
(freno de mano «fly-off»).
4) El volante de la dirección es libre.
El sistema de bloqueo antirrobo de dirección puede dejarse
inoperante.
El mecanismo de retirada rápida del volante debe consistir en
un collarín concéntrico con respecto al eje del volante, coloreado
de amarillo por anodización o por cualquier otro revestimiento
duradero, e instalado en la columna de dirección por detrás del
volante.
El sistema de retirada debe ser accionado tirando del collarín
siguiendo el eje de la dirección.
5) Se permite añadir compartimentos suplementarios a la guantera
y bolsillos adicionales en las puertas, siempre que se usen los
paneles de origen.
6) Se pueden añadir paneles de material aislante para proteger a
los pasajeros o las piezas del fuego o del calor.

6.7.3) Additional accessories
All those which have no influence on the car’s behaviour, for
example equipment which improves the aesthetics or comfort
of the car interior (lighting, heating, radio, etc.), are allowed
without restriction. In no case may these accessories increase
the engine power or influence the steering, transmission, brakes,
or roadholding, even in an indirect fashion.
All controls must retain the role laid down for them by the
manufacturer. They may be adapted to facilitate their use and
accessibility, for example a longer handbrake lever, an additional
flange on the brake pedal, etc.
The following is allowed:
1) Measuring instruments such as speedometers etc. may be
installed or replaced, and possibly have different functions. Such
installations must not involve any risk. However, the speedometer
may not be removed if the supplementary regulations of the
event prevent this.
2) The horn may be changed and/or an additional one added, within
reach of the passenger.
The horn is not compulsory on closed roads.
3) The handbrake locking mechanism may be removed in order to
obtain instant unlocking (fly-off handbrake).
4) The steering wheel is free.
The locking system of the anti-theft steering lock may be
rendered inoperative.
The quick release mechanism must consist of a flange concentric
to the steering wheel axis, coloured yellow through anodisation
or any other durable yellow coating, and installed on the steering
column behind the steering wheel.
The release must be operated by pulling the flange along the
steering wheel axis.
5) Additional compartments may be added to the glove
compartment and additional pockets in the doors, provided that
they use the original panels.
6) Insulating material may be added to protect the passengers or
parts from fire or heating.
