CHOOSING BRAND COLORS
Choosing the right colors for your
brand might seem like a daunting
exercise. Find out which colors
represent your industry
or reflect the emotion you
want your brand to convey.
Experiment by playing around
with different schemes by
plucking hues from photos, and
creating mood-boards to see how
the colors work together, or don’t.
Try creating a template with a
photo grid. Insert images with
interesting colors and collect the
dominant hues you like from the
photograph to form a palette. It’s
important to ensure you choose a
collection of colors with enough
contrast so that they will
work well when applied
as backgrounds, elements
and overlaying type.
