conmigo a mi país, proyectando una imagen positiva y de
responsabilidad, es también una forma de devolverle a la
vida y a mi país todo lo que me ha dado. Siempre me he
sentido de alguna forma embajador del Perú en el mundo,
la carrera como Tenor me ha llevado a muchos países del
mundo y cuando me presentan se refieren al tenor peruano. Ahora que soy Embajador de La Marca Perú siento
que es un reconocimiento que me da mi país y una responsabilidad mayor que me llena de orgullo y satisfacción.

through “Sinfonía por el Perú,” which is already gaining
international reputation and is also a way of always having
my country with me, projecting a positive and responsible
image. It is also a way of giving something back to life and
to my country for all they have given to me. Somehow, I’ve
always felt like an ambassador of Peru in the world: My
tenor career has taken me to many countries throughout
the world and when I am introduced I am referred to as
the Peruvian tenor. Now I am ambassador of Marca Peru
and feel this is an acknowledgement my country gives
me, as well as a large responsibility that fills me with pride
and satisfaction.

Fue nombrado recientemente por la Unesco; Embajador
de Buena Voluntad por la Educación y las Artes. El titulo le
fue otorgado por su trayectoria artística, así como por su
accionar en el ámbito social y cultural realizado a través de
la Fundación Sinfonía por el Perú.

Ambassador to the UNESCO
He was recently appointed UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador
for Education and Arts. The title was awarded for his
artistic career and for his social and cultural engagement
through the Symphony for Peru Foundation.

Fue condecorado con el título de Kammersanger en Viena, este titulo se traduce como “cantante de cámara” es
uno de los galardones más prestigiosos que Austria concede a los artistas.

As Artist
In Vienna, he has been awarded the “Kammersänger”
title; this title is translated as “Chamber Singer” and is one
of the most prestigious Austrian arts awards.

En Marzo del 2013, Juan Diego llega a Lima para protagonizar Guillermo Tell como parte del Festival Internacional de
ópera “Alejandro Granda”

In March 2012, Juan Diego is going to arrive to Lima to
play the leading role in Guillermo Tell, part of the “Alejandro
Granda” International Opera Festival.
