4.3 Determining the scope of the quality management system
This chapter match chapter 4.2.2 of ISO 9001:2008, however the quality manual is not a
must anymore, but the general is the same. So in this section the organization shall reflect
the whole organization approach to quality management together with comprehensive
details of how it will achieve through the implementation of the quality management system.
It’s necessary to describing the organization accommodation of the requirements specified
by the clauses of ISO 9001.
The scope of quality management system shall be at least the scope of certification. The
organization shall determine their processes and activities which they are carrying out.
These activities are forced to meet all related requirements. The organization is not forced
to meet the requirements which he is not put through. A large of construction companies,
they don’t carry out activities or processes such as design and development of a project, so
they are not applied to the chapter 8.3 of International Standard.

4.4 Quality management system and its processes
This chapter develops one of the principles of quality management: process approach. The
purpose of this principle consists on achieve expected output efficiently. As well, process is
defined in ISO 9000:
