REGLAMENTO ESPECÍFICO PARA VEHÍCULOS TODO-TERRENO DE SERIE (GRUPO T2) /
SPECIFIC REGULATIONS FOR SERIES CROSS COUNTRY CARS (GROUP T2)
ARTÍCULO 1 - DEFINICIÓN
Vehículos Todo Terreno de producción en serie.

ARTICLE 1 - DEFINITION
Series production Cross Country cars.

ARTÍCULO 2 - Homologación
De estos vehículos deben fabricarse, al menos, 1000  ejemplares
idénticos, en 12 meses consecutivos y estar homologados por la FIA
como Vehículos Todo Terreno de Serie (Grupo T2).

ARTICLE 2 - HomologaTciOn
At least 1000 identical units must have been produced in 12 consecutive
months and homologated by the FIA in Series Cross Country Cars
(Group T2).

ARTÍCULO 3 - NÚMERO DE PLAZAS
Los vehículos tendrán espacio para acomodar, al menos, a dos personas.

ARTICLE 3 - NUMBER OF SEATS
Cars must have room to accommodate at least two persons.

ARTÍCULO 4 - MODIFICACIONES Y MONTAJES AUTORIZADOS U
OBLIGATORIOS
Toda modificación no autorizada expresamente por el presente
reglamento o por el Artículo  282, o que no sea impuesta por el
Artículo 283, está expresamente prohibida.
Los únicos trabajos que se podrán efectuar sobre el vehículo serán los
necesarios para su mantenimiento normal, o la sustitución de piezas
deterioradas por el uso o por accidente. Los límites de las modificaciones
y montajes autorizados se especifican a continuación. Además de estas
autorizaciones, toda pieza deteriorada por el uso o por accidente podrá
reemplazarse únicamente por una pieza de origen idéntica a la pieza
dañada.
Los vehículos deberán ser estrictamente de serie e identificables por los
datos que figuran en la ficha de homologación.

ARTICLE 4 - MODIFICATIONS AND ADJUNCTIONS ALLOWED OR
OBLIGATORY
All the modifications which are not allowed by the present regulations
or by Article 282, or rendered mandatory by Article 283, are expressly
forbidden.

ARTÍCULO 5 - PESO MÍNIMO
Los vehículos deberán tener, al menos, el peso que aparece en su ficha
de homologación.
Es el peso del vehículo sin combustible, en cualquier momento de la
prueba y con una sola rueda de repuesto.
Los líquidos de refrigeración y el aceite de lubricación del motor, así como
el líquido de frenos, deben estar en su nivel normal.
Los otros depósitos de líquidos consumibles deben ser vaciados y los
siguientes elementos, retirados del vehículo:
- los ocupantes, su equipamiento y su equipaje;
- los faros adicionales que no figuren en la ficha de homologación;
- herramientas, gato de elevación y piezas de recambio;
- material de emergencia;
- equipamiento de navegación y de comunicación;
- víveres;
- etcétera.
El peso de la estructura de seguridad será deducido del valor medido de
la manera siguiente:
- Estructura según los Dibujos 283-1A a 283-2B: 30 kg
- Estructura según los Dibujos 283-1A a 283-2B que monte miembros
y refuerzos opcionales (Artículo 283-8.3.2): 35 kg
- Estructura según el Dibujo 283-3: 45 kg
Ningún tipo de lastre está autorizado en los Vehículos Todo Terreno de
Serie (Grupo T2).

ARTICLE 5 - MINIMUM WEIGHT
Cars must have at least the weight featuring on the homologation form

ARTÍCULO 6 -

ARTICLE 6 -

6.1 Motor
Los motores de gasolina sobrealimentados están prohibidos.
Se permite reemplazar o duplicar el cable del mando del
acelerador por otro que provenga, o no, del constructor.
- Encendido:
La marca y tipo de las bujías, del limitador de revoluciones y de
los cables de alta tensión son libres.
La caja y las piezas de la unidad electrónica de control (ECU)
relativas al encendido son libres; no obstante, el sistema debe
ser completamente intercambiable con la unidad de origen.
La instalación de origen debe ser conservada y no puede ser
modificada.
Los sensores y actuadores en el lado de entrada no pueden
modificarse, ni tampoco su función.
No se podrá añadir ningún sensor, incluso con la única finalidad
de la obtención de datos.
Se prohíbe añadir un interruptor en el cableado original entre la
ECU y un sensor y/o actuador.
En el caso en que un modelo esté equipado con un circuito
eléctrico multiplexado, se permite el uso de cableado junto con
una ECU homologada como Variante Opción.

6.1 Engine
Supercharged petrol engines are prohibited.
The accelerator cable may be replaced or doubled by another
one regardless of whether it comes from the manufacturer or not.
- Ignition:
Make and type of plugs are free as are rev-limiters and high
tension cables.
The electronic control unit and the ignition components in the
electronic control unit are free, nevertheless the system must be
entirely interchangeable with the original unit.
The original loom must be kept and cannot be modified.
Sensors and actuators on the input side must be standard, as
must their function.
No sensor may be added, even for the purpose of data recording.

The only work which may be carried out on the car is that necessary for
its normal servicing or for the replacement of parts worn through use or
accident. The limits of the modifications and fittings allowed are specified
hereinafter. Apart from these, any part worn through use or accident can
only be replaced by an original part identical to the damaged one.
The cars must be strictly series production models identifiable by the
homologation form data.

This is the weight of the car without fuel at any time during the event, with
one spare wheel.
The engine cooling fluid and lubrication oil as well as the brake fluid must
be at their normal levels.
The other tanks for consumable liquids must be drained and the following
elements must be removed from the car:
- occupants, their equipment and luggage;
- additional headlights which do not feature on the homologation form;
- tools, portable jack and spare parts;
- survival equipment;
- navigation and communication equipment;
- provisions;
- etcétera.
The weight of the safety cage will be substracted from the weight thus
measured, as follows:
- Cage according to Drawings 283-1A to 283-2B: 30 kg
- Cage according to Drawings 283-1A to 283-2B and having optional
members and reinforcements (Article 283-8.3.2) : 35 kg
- Cage according to Drawings 283-3: 45 kg
No ballast of any kind is authorised on Series Cross-Country cars
(GroupT2).

It is prohibited to add a switch in the original wiring loom between
the electronic control unit and a sensor and/or actuator.
In the case of a model fitted with a multiplexed electric circuit, the
use of a loom together with an electronic control unit homologated
in Option Variant is permitted.
