Since September 2013, an expedition of the company has moved to Guinea Bissau, to know
first hand the infrastructures (ports, highways and other facilities …) with the idea of knowing
better the country and to value better the advantages and disadvantages, this will help us to
analyze better the possibilities of the country for the production and marketing of tropical fruits.
Also we have held the first contacts with the farmers, seeing their estates and later supporting
meetings in the lounges of the hotel Azalai. Their attitude was very receptive, anxious to give
the steps necessary for the development of their products.
During November and the first to weeks of December, the majority of
the estates were visited
during production, directed to the study and analysis of the agriculture in the country,
agricultural infrastructures, meaning of the production, manipulated and interior and exterior
logistics. With the obtained information, we stablished a project timetable, to penetrate into the
study of the national agrarian politics of Guinea Bissau, the needs into infrastructures of the
producers and the study of the tropical fruits.
During December 2.013, we held meetings with the farmers, to analyze how to change an
agriculture of self-consumption, to an
agriculture based on the production of a major volume,
marketing and exportation of their products:
