his is a very singular
megalithic monument due to
the typology of the dome
constructed with the dry stone
technique (masonry). It is also very
atypical because its double
orientation: towards the El Torcal
mountain range (geographical
connection) and towards the sunrise
during the noon in the winter solstice
(astronomic connection). It is made up
of a linteled corridor of trapezoidal
section constructed with large slabs
and small stones. At the end there are
two circular chambers for offerings
with an altar stone. The chambers are
constructed with small stones
projected in each row with respect of
the lower row what forms a domed
