her, smiles. She closes the door.

THE AFTERNOON
GISELA (O.S.)
Mistress, mistress!
Gisela enters inside the house, followed by the white rat.
The girl looks around, raising her eyebrows with sadness.
GISELA
She’s not here, we’re too late.
MR. WHITE (RAT)
Check in thoroughly, maybe she left
some clue about her whereabouts.
Gisela approaches the table, looks underneath. She goes
backwards looking around.

The little witch looks at the floor, pieces of glass are
scattered. She turns around, sees a broken mirror by the
fireplace. Mr. White approaches Gisela.
