Numatics Coalescing Media
Typical coalescing media on the market today utilizes
multilayered or mechanically wound media. This type
of media allows particulate to plug the outer layer
shortening the service life and change intervals.
Numatics developed a proprietary weave of inorganic
microfibers of different diameters. Our media is
vacuum formed to create elements made out of
millions of complex tortuous paths of varying density.
This design allows particles to be trapped through
the entire cross section of the filter, lowering pressure
drop and maximizing capacity.

Numatics media is ideally suited for multiple
compressed air applications. Our media is available
in various temperature ranges and is compatible
with compressed air and non flammable / non toxic
gases.

Numatics Particulate Media
The service life of any media is a function of the solid
contaminant to which the filter media is subjected. In
order to maintain the same flow through put as the
media becomes contaminated requires an increase
in pressure drop. Numatics offers pleated media
which significantly increases surface area extending
service life.
Numatics has resin-impregnated media to provide
high performance particulate removal in applications
ranging from food processing to industrial filtration.
